System One 60 Series Heated Tube Humidifier with Heated Tube
Increase the comfort of CPAP therapy by adding the optional System One 60 Series Heated Tube Humidifier with Heated Tube. Philips Respironics has redesigned the System One Humidifier to increase water surface area for humidification output. The Heated Tube comes with the purchase of the heated tube humidifier and snaps on and off the humidifier port with ease.
By adding a Heated Tube to their System One Humidity System, PR manages rainout and reduces the chance of water damage to the machine all while maximizing comfort. The relative humidity that is delivered to the mask is adjusted by analyzing the ambient room temperature and machine airflow. The Heated Tube is the slim style of 15 mm and maintains the desired temperature evenly from the machine to the mask.
Use the on-screen menu to select one of three available levels of relative humidity (70, 80 or 90 percent). Step two, use the control dial to select from 5 levels of heated tube temperature, ranging from 4 to 16 degrees above room temperature. Easily maintain the optimum humidification level at the mask using the System One 60 Series assembly.
Standard Therapy Reporting
The System One REMstar tracks hours of use and provides information on overall patterns of use on screen and via the included SD Data Card.
Smart Technology Modes
The smart technology of Auto-Trial Mode and CPAP-Check Mode offer up to 30 nights of auto adjusting capability. During that period of use the system functions as an Auto CPAP delivering an adaptive pressure on a breath by breath basis. Following the set time of the Auto-Trial mode, the machine functions as a CPAP delivering the pressure that the patient was at or below 90% of the time. The CPAP-Check mode continuously verifies pressure requirements and makes adjustments after every 30 hours of use providing the user with more effective pressure levels over time. An Auto-Trial mode must be a minimum of 3 nights in length and the entire available 30 nights of Auto-Trial do not need to be used continuously. C-Flex+ Pressure Relief Technology
C-Flex+ is our newest enhancement to comfort relief for our advanced CPAP units (REMstar Pro and Auto) when in fixed CPAP mode. Like C-Flex, C-Flex+ provides flow-based pressure relief at the beginning of exhalation. Like A-Flex, C-Flex+ softens the pressure transition from inhalation to exhalation to provide additional comfort in fixed-CPAP mode. pro
System One Resistance Control
System One Resistance Control was developed by PR and considers the resistance of the mask in the therapy system. The machine reaches optimal pressure by using a numbering system that allows the CPAP device to recognize the mask that is used with treatment and compensating for it.
